Made from wood, this hanging black Triquetra decoration symbolises many different things to many people including the Pagan image of the Maiden, Mother and Crone - also known as the Triple Goddess.
Another interpretation can be "Mind, Body and Spirit", as well as the Christian interpretation of "Father, Son and Holy Ghost".
Literally, the word Triquetra means three-cornered.
It has also been called The Trinity Knot, and is constructed of one continuous line which interweaves around itself which in turn symbolises no beginning or no end, meaning an eternal spiritual life.
The Triquetra is made up of 3 sections and the number 3 has great importance in many world religions.
Originally an ancient Celtic Symbol possibly dating back to 500BCE.
